清末民初的大三峡老照片
本组图片由当时的成都外国传教士拍摄。长江流经四川盆地东缘时冲开崇山峻岭，夺路奔流形成了壮丽雄奇、举世无双的大峡谷，即长江三峡。
长江三峡也是中国古文化的发源地之一。大峡深谷，曾是三国古战场，是无数英雄豪杰用武之地。
两岸崇山峻岭，悬崖绝壁，风光奇绝，两岸陡峭连绵的山峰，一般高出江面700-800米左右。江面最狭处有100米左右。
朝辞白帝彩云间，千里江陵一日还。 两岸猿声啼不住，轻舟已过万重山。
中巴之东巴东山，江水开辟流其间。 白帝高为三峡镇，夔州险过百牢关。
